Support course by teaching curriculum face-to-face in lecture and lab situations for 6-12 students. Responsible for delivering materials, troubleshooting equipment, and software issues, daily grading of projects, taking and reporting attendance. An active member of the university's community, including working and attending special events and supplemental courses for continuing education in the ever-changing technological industry. Generate course materials to enrich the current curriculum.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creates an environment of learning by ensuring excellence in teaching skills and classroom content, studentcentered focus, and maintain curriculum to keep current and relevant to industry standards.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and encourage active learning.
Create learning activities, including assignments, tests, quizzes and labs, and assess student outcomes in a timely manner through effective assessment and constructive feedback to students to support the learning process.
Perform lectures for campus courses, and hold scheduled virtual course meetings for online courses. Teaching will be conducted through on campus and online delivery.
Interact positively with diverse student populations; provide all students with equal opportunities for learning.
Demonstrate a commitment to the industry, maintain knowledge and skill relevancy through continuing education as defined in the faculty development plan.

Skills:
Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with audio systems setup, signal flow, and optimization
Ability to set up staging, operate video cameras, route video signals to displays, understand projector fundamentals Experience mixing and integrating audio for corporatestyle events and presentations
Experience with basic lighting at events
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication, including skills with proofreading and editing
Ability to multitask
Ability to interact and work in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
